Okay…I admit… I’m a sucker for the color pink. I love its femininity and its softness. That’s why I was so glad that one of the layout challenges in pretty paper true stories involves creating a layout using pink as the color scheme. So I took the opportunity to create something girly and pink! So here’s my take on the challenge!
I used pink papers from DCWV and Paper Designer by Eno greetings.
Hope you all liked it!
It feels good to be scrapping. It give me freedom to express my art. And, it also gives me an excuse to print pictures. I know with the influx of the internet, many just post their pictures on social media sites. But for me, printing them, having a tangible copy of the memory frozen in time is still more amazing than just viewing them online.
So these photos were taken during our after dinner treat by our boss. It was an amazing experience for me since this was the first time that I had a gone on a night out with my colleagues. We drank, we danced, we had fun but more importantly, we bonded. With the help from the sketch from Pretty Paper True Stories, I made this picture more memorable to watch.

I’m taking a breather from my Mini Albums so I decided to go back to making layouts. To give me inspiration on making the layouts, I searched online for scrapbooking sites that feature sketches to give me additional ideas. So I came upon the Pretty Paper True Stories site and I was inspired to do my take on their given sketch. So here’s my take on their sketch 47…

The Challenge #28 inspiration
My take on the challenge, version no. 2!
I so love the black background. It just makes the picture pop out! I love the vintage feel of the layout.
Some close ups on the layout
The 3D camera sticker from eno greetings adds a perfect touch to my romantic layout.
The ticket, the tags and the title goes well together… it adds a subtle romantic-vintage vibe to the page.
The little vintage stamps are so cute!..
Hope you enjoyed my entry! Thanks FSCB for the opportunity to share my layout!
It’s been a while since I’ve created a page layout. I have been focused on making mini albums lately. Also I haven’t submitted any entries lately to FSCB. So here’s my entry no. 1 on FSCB Challenge # 28
The FSCB Challenge # 28 sketch
My take on the challenge
Pardon for the poor lighting, I was actually in a hurry this morning (must not be late for work!), so I just quickly took some pictures on my finished layout.
Here are some close-ups on the page
I used paper and fabric flowers as well as some bead sprays for my corner accent.
I layered some bookmark travel diecuts and a journalling tag. This photo was taken during our boracay trip last december.
So there it is… My entry to challenge #28. Hope they will like this!…;)
