I’m here again to show you another one of my creations. It’s a mini album inspired from Kathy Orta’s Purse Albums. It’s made of chipboard and the papers I used were mostly from Eno Greetings (the 8×8 Birthday Flowers Paper Designer Pad and the Polka Paper wrapping book and some 12×12 from the Elegant Flowers Paper Designer). I made this album for my cousin’s birthday. I just made the pages simple since she is not a Scrapper like me. So here’s the completed album!
Hopefully my cousin enjoyed this album because I really enjoyed making them. I bought most of the paper used in this project from the Bee Happy Craft Store.
Thanks for viewing my post!
Okay…I admit… I’m a sucker for the color pink. I love its femininity and its softness. That’s why I was so glad that one of the layout challenges in pretty paper true stories involves creating a layout using pink as the color scheme. So I took the opportunity to create something girly and pink! So here’s my take on the challenge!
I used pink papers from DCWV and Paper Designer by Eno greetings.
Hope you all liked it!
It feels good to be scrapping. It give me freedom to express my art. And, it also gives me an excuse to print pictures. I know with the influx of the internet, many just post their pictures on social media sites. But for me, printing them, having a tangible copy of the memory frozen in time is still more amazing than just viewing them online.
So these photos were taken during our after dinner treat by our boss. It was an amazing experience for me since this was the first time that I had a gone on a night out with my colleagues. We drank, we danced, we had fun but more importantly, we bonded. With the help from the sketch from Pretty Paper True Stories, I made this picture more memorable to watch.

Here are some of the close ups on the detatils of my layouts.
Hope you all enjoyed this!
I’m taking a breather from my Mini Albums so I decided to go back to making layouts. To give me inspiration on making the layouts, I searched online for scrapbooking sites that feature sketches to give me additional ideas. So I came upon the Pretty Paper True Stories site and I was inspired to do my take on their given sketch. So here’s my take on their sketch 47…
Sketch Forty Seven
My take on the sketch!..
Hope they like it!
It’s a while since I’ve posted on my blog. Mainly because I was busy making the albums I needed to post…hehe
Anyway, I’ve finished 3 albums this month and will be posting their pictures maybe this weekend (hopefully the net connection is not slow).
So hope you will enjoy viewing them as much as I have enjoyed making them..
Till this weekend!
I was looking for some sketch challenges online to participate and I came upon this site, scrapbookchallenge.com. They have some great sketches for their challenges and I decided to participate in them.
Here is the sketch challenge 389
and here is my take on their challenge…
I hope they like my interpretation!
It’s really amazing when you someone finally acknowledges your craft. Aside from my loved ones who are my ultimate fans, it is very heart-warming when other people commends you on your art. I know I am still a newbie and still learning from this craft, but the fact that you liked my layout.
So my special thanks to the Filipino Scrapbookers Challenge Club who chose my layout. It’s just so sad that you will not be continuing with the layout challenges. Lucky for me that I was able to win on your last layout challenge…;) I really loved the prize you sent and I will surely enjoy using those to create other beautiful layouts!
Thanks again for these!!
